Hello from sunny (or not) Cornwall. I’ve been M.I.A for quite a few months now. Although very occasionally popping up on Instagram to shit post. A lot of things have changed in my life over the last 5/6 months. I’ve never made it a secret that when I started this blog, I had split up with my partner of ten years – although we continued to live together for just over a year. I think most people assumed that we would stay together regardless. At some points even I did. The truth is, we should have split up five years ago. We did a few times but it lasted at most, a month. This time, because of COVID, trying to find somewhere to live as well as working 5 nights or more a week was horrendously stressful. In the end I just gave up – we’d been together for 10 years what’s a few more months? Let me tell you: A few more months living with someone you used to love is uncomfortable, irritating to put it lightly and painful. Compounded with the stress from the pandemic, it was almost unliveable. I could honestly write a book about the last few months but I don’t think I have the energy. The result though, is that I’m finally set up in a two-bed flat, less than ten minutes away from work. I’ve met someone new (that’s a story for another day) and I feel mostly ready to tackle the rest of my life. When this shitty pandemic is finally over – of course.
So drumroll please… Bare Bi-Polar is back. **Clapping emoji**
